Gacha life is centered around the customization aspect of characters. After designing the perfect character, players can enter Studio mode and create any scene imaginable. There are hundreds of backgrounds available, which makes creating the most fully fleshed out story possible.
The game now features over twenty character slots for players to make as many anime figures as possible. A character's appearance can be adjusted at any time with new hairstyles, eyes, mouth, and expression features. Additionally, players can use the Skit Maker mode to combine multiple scenes and create stories with their characters.
Unlike other dress up apps, Gacha Life also has a life mode, where players can explore different areas with their characters such as towns, schools, and more. There are many NPCs to chat with and meet to learn more about their unique life stories.
